Lethbridge, AB – Ottawa Senators prospect Chris Driedger made a season high 42 saves backstopping the Calgary Hitmen to a 3-2 win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes Tuesday night at Enmax Centre.
The win was Calgary’s seventh in their last eight games and moves them to the top of the WHL’s Eastern Conference standings, one point ahead of the Prince Albert Raiders,
Greg Chase in the first period, Alex Roach in the second and Carson Samoridny in the third period supplied the Hitmen scoring.  Roach also added an assist.
Jay Merkley and Ryan Pilon replied for Lerthbridge who out shot Calgary 44-20 but never had the lead.
The Hitmen will host Lethbridge tomorrow night in the back half of this home-and-home.  Game time is 7pm at Scotiabank Saddledome.
