The long trip ends tonight.

The Hitmen end a five-game road swing Saturday night (6 p.m., Sportsnet 960 THE FAN, WHL Live) in Swift Current to take on the high-powered Broncos offence.

Last season saw the Hitmen go 2-1-1-0 against the Broncos including a 0-1-1-0 record in Swift Current.  Matteo Gennaro led the way offensively with five points (2 G, 3 A) in the season series.

Friday night saw the Hitmen drop their fifth straight game after 5-2 loss to the hands of the Eastern Conference leaders Moose Jaw Warriors. Luke Coleman and Mark Kastelic scored the pair of Hitmen markers, while Nick Schneider finished with 29 saves.

The Hitmen have gone 0-2-2 on this road swing that started last weekend in Medicine Hat, and are 3-7 on the road. The Broncos are 6-3 on home ice.

Swift Current currently sit second in the Eastern Conference, five points back of the Warriors for first but have three games in-hand. They bounced back Friday night against the Tigers 4-3, after losing to the Warriors 7-4 on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

The two clubs will meet again on Friday, Dec. 8 back in Calgary, and are slated to meet twice more after the first tilt at the ‘Dome.

Following the matchup, the Hitmen will return home for a date with the Portland Winterhawks on Wednesday Nov. 22.
