The boys are hungry for a win.

The Hitmen are in Moose Jaw Friday night, (6 p.m., Sportsnet 960 THE FAN, WHL Live) taking on East Division leading Warriors.

Last year’s season series saw Moose Jaw win all four games, outscoring the Hitmen 21-15. Luke Coleman (2 G, 2 A), Matteo Gennaro (2 G, 2 A), Jakob Stukel (2 G, 2 A) and Vladislav Yeryomenko (2 G, 2 A) led the way offensively with four points each.

The Hitmen head into the matchup on a current four-game losing streak and are still searching for the first win on a five-game road swing.

Last game saw the Hitmen come just short of breaking the skid with a 4-3 loss Wednesday night to the Regina Pats.

Gennaro, Tristen Nielsen and Coleman all scored, but the club couldn’t muster up the tying goal late in the third.

Moose Jaw saw their six-game winning streak come to an end Wednesday night when they lost to the Saskatoon Blades 5-4.

During their winning streak, they outscored their opponents by a combined score of 30-12 and pushed them over the Swift Current Broncos for the division lead.

The Hitmen end their long five-game road swing Saturday night in Swift Current and return home next Wednesday Nov. 22 to take on the Portland Winterhawks.

Hitmen Milestones To Watch:

Matteo Gennaro is two assists away from 100.

Jake Kryski needs four goals for 50.
