A road swing that has been marked on the Hitmen’s calendar is here.
The Hitmen are in Medicine Hat to take on the Tigers Saturday night, (7:30 p.m., Sportsnet 960 THE FAN, WHL Live) for the first tilt of a five game road swing.
Medicine Hat clawed out a win Friday night at the ‘Dome 4-2 to snap the Hitmen’s two-game winning streak. Jakob Stukel and Luke Coleman found the back of the net in the loss, while Nick Schneider made 26 saves against his former club.
The contest was knotted up at two until the Tigers would strike twice in the final frame to drop the Hitmen’s record to 6-11-1.

Saturday’s matchup is the second of six games the rivals will face off. Last season, the Tigers swept the season series 6-0 and outscored the Hitmen 34-18.
Matteo Gennaro (2 G, 6 A) led the Hitmen with eight points while Jakob Stukel (5 G, 2 A) and Beck Malenstyn (3 G, 4 A) both recorded seven against the Tigers year ago.
The Hitmen will have a couple days off after the game, before returning to action on Tuesday Nov. 14 to take on the Brandon Wheat Kings. The contest marks the first of four games in five nights that sees them take on the Regina Pats, Moose Jaw Warriors and Swift Current Broncos.
