It’s finally back to home sweet home.

The Hitmen welcome the Medicine Hat Tigers to the Scotiabank Saddledome Sunday afternoon, (2 p.m., WHL Live, Sportsnet 960 THE FAN/Alt Stream) in the second half of a home-and-home set.

After ending their season-high seven game road-trip Friday night in Medicine Hat, the Hitmen will now begin a hometsand of seven-straight games.

The first clash in the weekend set saw the Tigers come away with a 4-0 win, peppering 45 shots on goal as Nick Schneider kept the Hitmen in the tilt all night, finishing with 40 saves.

During the road trip, the Hitmen were led by Tristen Nielsen in the points department, as the 17-year-old finished with six points (3G, 3A) in seven contests. Jakob Stukel (4G) and Luke Coleman (3G, 1A) were next with four points each.

The matinee marks the fifth of six regular season meetings between the two Central Division rivals, with the Hitmen currently 1-2-1 against the Tigers.  Mark Kastelic (1G, 4A) leads the Hitmen with five points against Medicine Hat while Stukel is second with four points (3G, 1A) in the season series.

Last time the two clubs met at the Dome saw the Hitmen pick up a thrilling 4-3 overtime win. With the teams trading goals in the last two periods, Riley Stotts would score the OT winner just 47 seconds into the extra frame back on Jan. 3.

After the contest, the Hitmen will welcome the Tri-City Americans to the Saddledome on Wednesday in the lone meeting of the season.
