Matt Dorsey – Forward – Wenatchee Wild

17 Games Played 4 Goals 7 Assists 11 Points

The 18-year-old forward spent last season with the Hitmen, appearing in 34 games finishing with six points (3G, 3A) and was reassigned to the Wenatchee Wild in Nov. 2017. After appearing in 17 regular season games, Dorsey added a goal in four playoff games with the Wild as they move onto the second round in the post-season.

Hale Schoneck – Defence – CBHA Blackhawks Minor Midget AAA

36 Games Played 2 Goals 21 Assists 23 Points

The defenceman was the Hitmen’s final pick in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft after a 12 point season with the Calgary Bisons in Bantam AAA. In his first season with the CBHA Blackhawks, Schoneck has provided offence from the blueline with his 21 assists ranking second on the team, and his 23 points ranking fifth.

Luc Benedictson – Forward – Winnipeg Wild Midget AAA

43 Games Played 13 Goals 14 Assists 27 Points

Benedictson was drafted in the eighth round by the Hitmen after a 49 point season in Bantam AAA. In his first season in Midget with the Wild, he started off with 15 points in the first 32 games. Since then in his last 11 tilts, he’s  started to adjust into the play style with 12 points. Through 48 games, the Wild have gone 41-5-1-1 sitting in first place.

Cam Newson – Defence – Valley West Hawks

11 Games Played

A ninth round selection in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft, Newson has split time between the Valley West Hawks as an affiliate player and the Semiahoo Ravens. With the Ravens, Newson had 5 goals, 12 assists in 17 games. The Valley West Hawks currently sit in first place in B.C. Hockey Major Midget League with 63 points.

Evan Toth – Defence – Winnipeg Monarchs City Midget

36 Games Played 13 Goals 28 Assists 41 Points

The sixth-round selection in the 2017 WHL Bantam Darft has been on a tear as of late. In his late 12 games played the defender has chipped in with six goals to go along with nine assists for 14 points. After starting the season with 26 points, his hot streak has pushed him well over a point game.

Tye Carriere – Forward – Red Deer Chiefs Midget AAA

34 Games Played 18 Goals 14 Assists 32 Points

Carriere was one of four Hitmen prospects to compete in the Mac’s Midget AAA World Invitational Tournament, finishing with one point in three games played. The Red Deer Chiefs came up just short in the Mac’s final, falling to the Regina Pats Canadians. In his last seven games played, the forward has 11 points.
