The 18th annual Petro-Canada Teddy Bear Toss Game will be played on Sunday, December 2, 2012 when the Calgary Hitmen host the Kootenay Ice.

Fans are asked to bring a stuffed toy (or two) to the game and toss it on the ice when the Hitmen score their first goal.  All stuffed toys will then be shared amongst local charities in time for the holiday season, including the Cerebral Palsy Assocation, Salvation Army, Boys and Girls Clubs, Alberta Children’s Hospital, etc.

Last year’s Teddy Bear Toss goal was scored by Calder Brooks. Brooks scored over 18 minutes into the second period to prompt the over 16,000 fans in attendance at the 17th annual Petro-Canada Teddy Bear Toss to litter the ice with 25,303 furry critters.
