Hitmen goaltender Matthew Armitage went into training camp determined to make the roster and since then, not only has he accomplished his goal but he also had his WHL debut on Sept. 30 against the Saskatoon Blades.

Favourite Player: Carey Price – I have a long ways to go if I want to try and be like him.
Who Do You Model Your Game After: Dustin Tokarski, he’s a smaller goalie and plays really well.
Pre-Game Ritual: I like to tape my stick and then build a tower of pucks on the bench.
Experience With Hitmen So Far: It’s been awesome and such an honour to be a part of an organization like the Hitmen, and it’s been a lot of fun.
Favourite Hockey Memory: Winning the Alberta Cup with Calgary North.
Favourite Movie: Step-brothers.

Tim Hortons or Starbucks: I’m not a big coffee drinker but I like Tim Hortons better.
Age When Started Skating: 2 years old, my dad wanted get me in it at a young age.

Goals For The Season: I want to come in and get as many starts as possible and be a great teammate. I want to get better everyday.
