Born in Alberta but raised a Saskatchewan Roughriders fan.
Zach Huber’s parents didn’t give him much of a choice for who to cheer for.
“My parents were born in Saskatchewan and the culture there is if you don’t cheer for them you get beat up for it,” Huber said. “I had no choice.”

Who Do You Model Your Game After: Toews – I love the way he handles himself off the ice and how involved he is in the community. He puts in the most work and is always the first one in the gym.
Pre-Game Ritual: I tape my stick up but don’t put wax on it till I’m in half gear. I always put the left side of my equipment on first, too.
Favourite Hockey Memory: Being named captain of my Bantam AAA team. We won the provincial title and placed second in the Western Canadian Final.
Favourite Movie: Step Brothers.
Favourite TV Show: Criminal Minds.
Dinner Party: Jerry Rice, Michael Jordan and Jonathan Toews.
Favourite Vacation: I went to Jamaica with my family for Christmas a couple of years ago.
