Get To Know: Jadon Kwiatkowski

It’s time for a new journey.

After being the lone American selected by the Hitmen in the eleventh round of the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft, Jadon Kwiatkowski is ready to begin the next chapter in his hockey career with an organization that he already has a unique tie to.

That tie is Kwiatkowski knowing former Everett Jr. Silvertip and current Hitmen forward Hunter Campbell.

“I was really excited being picked by the Hitmen because I’ve heard so many great things about the organization, city and fans,” he said. “At first I didn’t know much about Calgary but Hunter has told me a lot and how much he loves it there.

“I can’t wait to head over for training camp to meet everyone, make an impression and see how the system is.”

Q: How Was This Past Season For You And Your Team?

Kwiatkowski: We started off slow but then things started to click for us and we got better as a team. We got stronger and closer as the season went on but then we just came up short in the end. For me personally, I started off pretty quick scoring goals consistently but then halfway through I went through a lull and didn’t have any puck luck. I was able to battle through it and get back to helping the team out with my offensive game.
