The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club today announced they have acquired the rights to 17-year-old forward Quinn Olson from the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for 17-year-old forward Bryce Bader.  The deal also sees the two teams swap conditional sixth-round picks in the Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

“Olson is highly skilled forward who we believe can be a very good player in our league,” said Hitmen General Manager Jeff Chynoweth.  “We are excited to start the recruitment process with the goal of having Quinn play for the Calgary Hitmen.”

Olson, currently on a 10-game point streak, is playing in the Alberta Junior Hockey League with the Okotoks Oilers.  He was selected by the Raiders in the sixth round, 128th overall, in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.
