Hitmen complete trade deadline deal with Hurricanes

 

The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club today announced they have acquired 19-year-old defenceman Scott Allan from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.

Allan, a native of Thornton, Colorado, is currently playing Junior ‘A’ with the British Columbia Hockey League’s West Kelowna Warriors where he has recorded 12 points (2g, 10a) in 31 games this season.  Prior to spending parts of two seasons in the WHL from 2013-15, Allan played in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League as a member of the Banff Hockey system.
