Hitmen Defenceman Luke Prokop Selected By Nashville In 2020 NHL Draft

The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club is proud to announce defenceman Luke Prokop was selected in the third round, 73rd overall, by the Nashville Predators in the 2020 NHL Draft.
“We would like to congratulate Luke on this important first step towards reaching his goal of playing in the National Hockey League,” said Hitmen General Manager Jeff Chynoweth. “His game took big strides forward this past season and today’s selection is a reward for all the hard work he has put in.”
Prokop, the seventh overall pick in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft, was a regular in the top-four on the Hitmen blueline in 2019-20, posting a career-high 23 points.
