Hitmen Own Two Picks In Wednesday’s Inaugural WHL U.S. Prospects Draft

The Calgary Hitmen own the 11th overall pick heading into the 2020 WHL U.S. Prospects Draft.

The online draft will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25 and hosted by the WHL Office.  It comprises of two-rounds with the Hitmen second-round selection 34th overall.  Fans can follow every pick live at beginning at 2:00 p.m. MT.

This marks the first time in Western Hockey League history there is a draft exclusively for U.S. Prospects.  Selection order was determined during a February lottery where every club had an equal chance to obtain the first overall pick.  To help teams prepare, the WHL U.S. Challenge Cup presented by NHL Seattle and Visit Kent was held last month in Seattle.
