HITMEN SIGN DEFENCEMAN ALEKSEY CHICHKIN

The Calgary Hitmen announced today they have signed defenceman Aleksey Chichkin to a Western Hockey League Scholarship and Development agreement.

The defenceman was listed by the Hitmen on January 31, 2023 and currently plays with the Merritt Centennials of the BCHL. The 2005-born defenceman currently has 1G, 6A in 34 games this season. Chichkin played the 2021-22 season with the Burnaby Winter Club U18 Prep team and was a teammate of current Hitmen rookie Carson Wetsch.
