HITMEN SIGN FORWARD XANDER SCHULTE

The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club today announced the signing of forward Xander Schulte to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.

“Xander is a big body forward who possesses very good skill.” said Hitmen General Manager Jeff Chynoweth. “He brings a different look than our other signed players, but can play in all situations and will provide much needed size to our younger forward group.”

Schulte was a sixth round selection (131st overall) in the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft and played for the St. Albert Raiders U18 AAA team this past season finishing with 23 points (13G, 10A). Schulte’s Father, Paxton Schulte,  played two years in the Western Hockey League with the Spokane Chiefs (1991-1993) and was a member of the Calgary Flames organization from 1996-1998.
