Hitmen To Host A RE/MAX 50/50 Draw For All Remaining Home Games

The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club today announced the team will host an online RE/MAX 50/50 draw for all remaining home games during the 2021 season.

Tickets will go on sale on Hitmen home game days at 9:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m. that same day with the kickoff event this Saturday, April 3rd when the Hitmen host the Medicine Hat Tigers at Seven Chiefs Sportsplex.

Proceeds will support the Calgary Hitmen Foundation, which last season handed out nearly $175,000 in charitable donations.

The 50/50 program is the sole source of funding for the Calgary Hitmen Foundation. At the core of the Foundation is the education program. Last season the WHL awarded more than 400 scholarships to current and graduate players, including 34 Hitmen alumni, to attend post-secondary institutions. The Calgary Hitmen Foundation has also supported a broad range of charitable programs in the past including Fuel for School, Distress Centre Calgary, KidSport Calgary, food banks, Calgary Prostate Cancer Centre, Kids Cancer Care, Every Child Matters and many more.

“We are thrilled to see the return of the RE/MAX Hitmen 50/50 draws,” said Candice Goudie, Executive Director, CSEC Foundations.  “This program is integral to the Hitmen Foundation and sustains Foundation programs. The Hitmen and the Foundation are enthused at the chance to reinject funds into important projects and programs and also add to the game day experience for fans watching and listening at home,”

The RE/MAX Hitmen 50/50 is open to anyone who lives in Alberta and is 18 years of age or older with prices as follows;

  • 1 for $5
  • 10 for $10
  • 60 for $20
  • 200 for $50
