NHL Central Scouting today released the preliminary list of Players to Watch ahead of the 2020 NHL Draft.

Two Hitmen are featured on the list with 2001-born goaltender Jack McNaughton and 2002- born defenceman Luke Prokop both receiving ‘B’ ratings indicating a potential second or third round pick.

McNaughton is in his second season with the Hitmen and is off to a strong start with a 3-0 record to go along with a 1.98 goals-against-average and a .910 save percentage. The soon to be 18-year-old appeared in 46 games last season, posting a 25-14-3-1 record and was named the club Rookie of the Year.

Prokop was a first round pick, sixth overall, in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft and has two assists in five games to begin the new campaign. He represented Canada on the national stage at the World Under-17 Championships with Team Canada White serving as an alternate captain.
