Calgary Hitmen 2 (OT) vs Kamloops Blazers 3

Kamloops, BC – Brendan Ranford scored 16 seconds into overtime lifting the Kamloops Blazers to a 3-2 win over the Calgary Hitmen Saturday night at Interior Savings Centre.

Bronson Maschmeyer and Jordan DePape also scored for Kamloops who built first and third period leads of 1-0 and 2-1.

Kris Foucault with his ninth goal of the season and Jaynen Rissling with his second replied for Calgary.

Kamloops outshot the Hitmen 33-19 as goaltender Brandon Glover made 30 saves in the Hitmen goal while Jeff Bosch stopped 17 for the Blazers.

Calgary went 1-3 on the powerplay.  Kamloops was 0-2.

The Hitmen return home from their BC road trip with three of a possible six points and an overall record of 7-20-2-0.

Calgary is back in action Wednesday night to open a four game home stand against the Edmonton Oil Kings.

Game time is 7:00 p.m. at Scotiabank Saddledome.
