Game Preview: Moose Jaw at Calgary

The Calgary Hitmen (22-16-2-1) put a season high five game winning streak on the line tonight as they host the Moose Jaw Warriors (25-14-4-1).  Game time is 7:00 p.m. at Scotiabank Saddledome.  Both teams enter play off healthy breaks.  The Hitmen haven’t played since Sunday’s 6-3 come from behind win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes while Moose Jaw has been idle since Saturday’s 3-2 victory in Kootenay.

The Hitmen enter play with 47 points to sit seventh in the Eastern Conference, one point up on Brandon and two points back of Saskatoon for sixth.  Moose Jaw has 55 points to sit second in the conference, a point ahead of Kootenay, but six points back of Edmonton for top spot.

Calgary and Moose Jaw have met twice this season with both meetings in Saskatchewan.  Cody Sylvester leads the Hitmen with three points (2g 1a) in the season series, while Canadian World Junior Quinton Howden tops Moose Jaw with four points (2g 2a).
