The hometown Royals started quick grabbing a 2-0 lead just 1:57 into the opening period.

However the Hitmen rallied with five unanswered goals as Trevor Cheek and Danny Gayle also scored for Calgary who snapped a four game losing streak.

Brandon Glover made 22 saves to pick up the win.

They return to action with a pair of games on the road this weekend, Friday in Kelowna before heading to Kamloops on Saturday.
